when you select "normal" for the cycle and hit sta...

when you select "normal" for the cycle and hit start nothing happens. the light above the normal only flashes. when you hit cancel the light above the cancel flashes, but nothing happens. I have shut off the electric to the appliance many times in hope to reset it, but it does not.
