Question About KitchenAid Microwave Oven KHMC107E
How to clean behind front vent...

My KHMC107EBT-0, installed new Jan 1999, vents back into kitchen (townhouse HOA rule). I moved here Jan 2008. Area behind slotted vent STINKS. Carbon-type filter is there -- how do I clean it AND the metal parts around it? HELP! I even bought an air purifier, but these "old smells" persist. I NEED USE & CARE MANUAL, long since gone.
