I have the built-in version of a KitchenAid microwave, model KCMS145J or KCMS145K, located above an oven. The release button no longer opens the door (thank goodness there was no food inside at the time), and there is no obvious way to open the door or access the release mechanism. Is there a way to open this to fix the problem short of explosives? Is there a way to fix this short of bringing in a repairman?
