KitchenAid Appliances KHMS2056SSS0 Microwave Oven...

Part no. 17 (w10143983) 3 button light/fan board. this part on my oven does't work unless i press these buttons like 1,000 times. does this part go out commonly? if it isnt this part what do you think it could be?
