I have a Kitchenaid Professional Mixer (Model #KP26M1XLC) that unfortunately I don't get the chance to use much. I used it on Sunday to mix some Dream Whip and it worked ok. Last night I went to make mashed potatoes, turned it on the 1st speed (stir) and it was mixing a warp speed. Tried a few times. Did the same thing, would only stay on about 30 seconds and shut off. If I tried any other speed, it did not work. HELP!!
