my kitchenaid mixer is leaking streams of brown oil. What does this mean? Can it be repaired or will I have to replace the mixer?

0 My wifes is doing the same thing. I understand it is the gear grease separating due to none use. I found a parts list and a exploded view but I don't have actual instructions as to the process to disassemble and reassemble or exactly which gaskets/"o" rings to replace. Any help out there?
