When I turn my oven on bake the broil element come...

When I turn my oven on bake the broil element comes on, too and burns my biscuits. I didn't think the broil element should come on when you have it set on bake.

0 The broil element comes on during the preheat cycle to help heat the oven quickly. I don't think it should be on after the oven comes to temp.
