Question About KitchenAid Range KERS507
self cleaning Oven...

I just got this self cleaning stove how long do i set the oven for it is very dirtyi tunned it off as the smoke was over whelming

0 pre clean any sugar spills (yams etc) and anything that you can lift out with a plastic egg turner. If you don't want the racks to loose there shine do not leave them in the oven. Make sure you take all pots, pans etc out of bottom pull out drawer. Set for three hours turn on the fan above and if you have a window close by leave that open if possible. This way smoke will get aired out quicker
