Every time the ice tray dumps its ice and refills ...

Every time the ice tray dumps its ice and refills with water, the Fridge emits a loud piercing beeping sound for about 5 seconds. I can not find any information about what this signal is for, or how to stop it.

0 Also, is some way to bypass the water filter? We have very good city water and do not need the cost and hassle of a disposable filter.
