I HAVE REPLACED THE DEFROST TIMER ON A KTRS25KDWH0...

I HAVE REPLACED THE DEFROST TIMER ON A KTRS25KDWH01 refrigerator. The timer works but I have the same problem as before. The circuit will not complete unless you slap the area that houses the timer. then the connection is made. I'm thinking it is the thermostat. mjm
