Question About KitchenAid Trash Compactor KUCC151LPA1
I have a Kitchen Aid Built-in Trash Compactor Mode...

I have a Kitchen Aid Built-in Trash Compactor Model KUCC151LPA1 Serial Number SS3467338 which is probably about 8 to 9 years old. To compact, we step on the foot pedal and compactor comes down. We then step on it again and compactor goes up. Is this normal? Or is it a one-step and both compactor goes down and up in the same movement? Thanks!
