My kitchenaid trash compactor model # kucs03fsss0 will not turn on when I press the lever up. I have checked the actuator and it appears to be fine. There is power to the machine. When I turn the on/off switch "on" it will run but then stops and will not resume with the lifting of the pedal. Also, it randomly will make the sound of the ram moving but it is not.
