CLEANING...

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN THE GREASE FROM THE "GRIDS" UNDER THE HOOD? I DON'T HAVE THE MANUAL AND I BELIEVE THERE MUST BE AN EASIER WAY THAN SOAKING THEM IN HOT WATER WITH MILD DETERGENT.
