Question About LG Electronics Dishwasher LDS5811WW
"LE" Error...

For some reason the dishwasher after starting off for a few minutes, comes up with a code "LE" on the screen and stops working. No errors of this kinds are mentioned in the troubleshooting section of the manual. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried multiple different ways to run cycles, but they all run into the same problem. Thanks for the help.

5 try taking the unit apart from the inside to comferm the motor is stuck. remove the racks the spinner in the bottom, the screen assy (1 foot in dia.) the wheel of pump with left hand threads, make sure it is unplugged, try to spin the garbage disspser blade. if it has trouble spinning then, pull out dish washer unit and flip over and remove the cover on botom and the motor and ground wire. good luck. i have had to replace mine twice now!

3 I had the same problem and was told it was the motor. Well, it wasn't the motor. Take the front panel off & look at the wiring harness. There was a wire broken, not to mention the insulation was in the wrong place. It should be between the inside wall (dishwasher tub) and the wiring harness this way the wires wont get hot and break. Simple fix but, I would have never thought to take the door apart.
