Can I reverse the doors on this fridge?...

I have an LG 22 Cu.ft. refer. Model# LBC22518WW. There are the usual holes with the plastic plugs on the opposite side. When I try to remove the plastic handles (usually a keyhole assembly) by pushing up very firm on the handles, I cannot get them to budge. Can the door be reversed on this model and, if so, how do you remove the handles?
