Question About LG Electronics Refrigerator LFX25980
Demo Mode...

Just got off the phone with LG. here is how to get the fridge out of the dreaded demo mode, where it displays 0 and FF. 1. make sure the fridge is plugged in 2. Open both french doors 3. Hold down the Refrigerator and Ice Plus Buttons simultaneously. They must be pressed at the same time. Hold until you hear a beep confirming the mode change. 4. Make sure the fridge works and the LCD panel has functionality.

4 i have tried this and still have no cooling..trying to get help from LG is very difficult

4 OMG! Thank god. WTH, how is it that they could have a manual that doesn't tell you how to turn on your fridge! My fridge is brand new in the box, but was in demo mode when we plugged it in. Your advice worked!!

4 my fridge was a demo in the store and was also in demo mode. I have model # LFC23969. In demo mode, the LED where scrolling from 1 to 7. you have to open the right door. Then press both "refrigerator adjust" and "ice plus" button for 5 seconds. that's it.

0 Bought floor model in demo mode and when they delivered it plugged it in saw the light on and said its working and left...also left their step ladder and orange belts( husband) was home to receive it...lol. I get home 5 hours later not working...read manual nothing about this malfunction...called the guy back out thank god he knew was in demo mode I googled how to get out of demo on LG refrigerator.... Your comment helped now working.

0 Didn't work as the "6" for filter change is on - how do you get this off first so that I can follow the directions of opening the door and pushing the 2 buttons at the same time for 5 seconds?
