I need to turn off my LG LDC22720 for the winter. ...

I need to turn off my LG LDC22720 for the winter. Is my only option to unplug it? I'm wondering too about the water line into the ice maker. Any ideas about how to drain that to prevent freezing? Thanks in advance for responses.
