Ice Compartment Frosting...

Recently I took the ice compartment to clean ever since then the base of the ice compartment is frosting and when pressing for cubical ice only crushed ice is dispensed. As a result of the frost the ice compartment gets stuck to the metal.below. Grateful if you can solve the problem.
