icemaker problems...

The icemaker in this unit splashes water on the inside of freezer. The tray doesent seem to set strait and the water pours into one of the icube bays and back out onto the inside of the freezer. It makes ice and keeps up well, but makes a mess on any thing below it on the left side interior. please respond as soon as possible thanks jay

5 I have the same LG model and since last week I'm having the same problem with the ice maker. If you by any chance repaired that already can you please tell me what to do. Thank you Ursula

5 Same issue - getting old. Where exactly did you go to buy a new tray? LG website is a bit un-userfriendly. Also approx how much did you have to spend? Thanks.

5 It seems when the ice cube tray fills some water splashes down the side of the freezer and all over anything below the ice bucket. How can we fix this problem?

5 I have a similar issue with my freezer. Except that the entire bottom shelf of the freezer freezes and creates ice several inches thick. I need to pound this out with a hammer every month. This is ridiculous. I am in search of some advice.

5 I am also having this problem. Replaced the fill valve, and it worked for about 3 months. Now the upper freezer wire shelf is icing in place, and an inch of ice in the bottom of the freezer.

5 Ordered a new ice tray. It has an overfloww lip on it. I don't know how to take out the old tray and put the new one in though. If anyone could give me instructions please?
