Question About LG Electronics Refrigerator LFC25760
interior lights do not go out when door is closed ....

Interior lights in ref, do not go out when doors are closed. They overheat and cause plastic lens to smell/and soften. Fans run correctly,shut off when doors are open/run when closed. I checked door contact switches with ohm meter and are working fine. Do they operate a relay? Everything else works OK(cooling)

0 I almost had a fire last night in my LG 3-door refrigerator because the lights never shut off. Call LG and they will send out someone to repair your fridge even if its out of warranty like mine is. After doing some research on the internet, it looks like this is a big problem with LG refrigerators. I wonder why they haven't been recalled.
