I have had issues with the ice maker on this unit also since I purchased it less than 3 years ago. Latest issue is with a small plastic piece with 2 wires connected to it is hanging down in the ice tray. There is a small plastic piece that has come loose, also in the ice tray. I assume it connected to it some how and has come apart somehow. Would like to see a picture of the area so I can see how this was mounted. All I have is a useer manual which is too high level.
