Rinsing Agent...

How do I use? I'm using Seventh Generation Products that leave a film on the dishes, so I was told to use two tablespoons of vinegar to get rid of the problem. Do you unscrew the rinsing agent thing and fill up the resevoir? Or only use a small amount at a time (the recommended 2 tbls per use)? Thanks.
