Can you take the icemaker apart to clean where the ice makes

1 First unplug unit.Next remove back panel and back two side panels.Next remove the top.Look up where the two side panels were removed and remove screws.Next you need to remove the tray motor.Let the motor hang. Next you need to remove tray by taking a pair of needle nose pliers and squeezing the clip on the left hand shaft fastener and then pull tray up and off of shaft.Be careful not to break clip.Then you will have to work the tray out.Clean as required then reassemble.
