0 Open the lid and see a probe, that piece tells the ice to stop working. There is a defect in manufacture. There is a key hole where the probe comes and a panel that holds them, two seams. Water goes in those two places and corrodes the cheap little fragile wires, they disintegrated on my model. They corroded because they are copper and goy wet.If you can pull enough good wire to re-splice, I tried and tried. I had to take the back off, trace that wire and push more up the hole to have enough wire for a good connection. The panel will two seams and keyhole for the prong are bad design. Keep every thing dry, I might use a little silicone on the vulnerable areas. Keep an eye on your machine, you spent a lot of money on it. Put the ice in a bucket or freezer right away The compressor is great, that is why it has a 5 year warranty.
