not cooling on bottom and noisy condensor

0 mine had an ice block behind the freezer wall blocking cool air from reaching the fridge. unplug and allow the unit to defrost for 24 hours or until all freezer walls are room temp. then plug the unit back in. mine is cooling top & bottom now. (surround your unit with plenty of towels, this is wet business!) regarding the noisy compressor, chances are you have had an ice block for a lone time, and wore out the compressor running it continually - you might need a new one.
