Our 6SBARE'S temperature alarm constantly beeping....

Our 6SBARE'S temperature alarm constantly beeping. Temperature falls to 46 degrees. We reset temp. and temp goes back to 46. What is the problem and how do we fix it? We pulled unit out and vacuumed coils (removed back panels) and saw that fan was still running when plugged in.
