mdb91000awb maytag dishwasher washer arm will not ...

mdb91000awb maytag dishwasher washer arm will not turn. water simes to go in and out. do you know what my problem could be. I have taken rack out and checked if anything could be hanging up but did'nt see anything . also have taken arm off and checked it.
