Question About Maytag Dishwasher Quiet Series 400
We own a Quiet Series 400. It is no linger quiet....

We own a Quiet Series 400. It is no linger quiet. It sounds to me like the pump is starving for water. There seems to be an adequate level in the tub. It makes a growling sound, and the dishes do not come out clean. Any help would be appreciated.

0 Check to see if the discharge hose is kinked. My DW also made the extra noise and didn't seem to leave the dishes clean. It eventually burned up the pump.

0 This dishwashr has been recalled by maytag. Google maytag quiet series 400 recall to find out more. They are offering repair or a few hundred dollar discount on new dishwasher.
