Oven is in Control Lock. Control Lock does not disable with pressing of "Cancel" and "Cook and Hold". Display remains locked out and doors are locked... any suggestions?

0 So after a $65 house call from a technician who knew less about the oven than I did, pressing slightly outside the areas where the circles were activated the removal of the lock, so the "Cancel" and "Cook and Hold" eventually did work as advertised. However, we continued to have issues with trying to set an oven temperature, and random activations of the delay time feature.

0 We eventually got both ovens set and heating, when the lower oven display blanked out (but the oven still seemed to be heating). A lot of pressing of cancel buttons and we got both ovens off, and now I can't get any response from the oven but beeps from the cancel buttons. Of course the response to every problem encountered was a need for a new controller and key pad (for over $500) which is a pat answer I could give for the problemes experienced.

0 I'm am very unhappy with the last Maytag properties I have purchased since both have experienced fatal errors in a very short lifetime span. (I've only had this oven 4 years.) I'm now considering purchasing a high end professional oven which has no soft touch keyboard component in the hopes it will prove more reliable with the old fashioned oven control dials.
