how do i adjust this precision touch control 800 ...

how do i adjust this precision touch control 800 from gaz to propane . i live in puerto vallarta mx n it was suppose to be adjusted but all my pans turn black .I m wondering if its well adjusted thank you Lucie my email is alpdex@yahoo.com
