My Maytag MSD2652kES ice maker does not make ice. ...

My Maytag MSD2652kES ice maker does not make ice. Water dispenser makes loud clicking sound when filter is in. Works fine without filter. I've replaced the dual water valve, and this is the second water filter I've tried in six months. Help!
