The handles have become loose and I cannot find a ...

The handles have become loose and I cannot find a way to tighten them up. I have looked at the manual and it does not give explicit instructions on how to remove the handle and tighten the plate. There are no set screws or other obvious means to remove them. Any help or online solutions would be appreciate.
