After wash is complete the unit "beeps" until the ...

After wash is complete the unit "beeps" until the door is opened. How can I disable this beep...or have it just do one set of beeps. Otherwise, I have to get up in the middle of the night to go downstairs to open the door. It has become an unwanted alarm clock! Thanks/ Sleepless in Seattle.
