Hi, We have inherited a Miele G 638 SC Plus with the purchase of a property. While we know this is an old model it actually works very well and we wish to retain it for a while. There is a red light in the front which says "salt" and a screw on cap at the bottom of the unit which also says "salt". Are these related, do we fill this with salt, if so what type ie iodised etc Many Thanks
