how do you run the clean cycle on bvmc-ejx37 12 cu...

how do you run the clean cycle on bvmc-ejx37 12 cup coffee maker? all of a sudden the red clean light comes on. but when you push the brew now button it immediatly beeps as if coffee is ready, but has not brewed any coffee at all!!!!
