0 make sure the time is set by pressing the hour and minute buttons. then, press and hold the delay brew button and set the hour and minutes, if you haven't set the time then the delay brew feature can't be set. I had forgotten that the power had gone off, and could not set the delay brew. then I set the time and it worked fine...oops
