Question About Oster Microwave Oven OGB81201
oven don't shut of when you open door...

when the oven is on and you're trying check to see if the food is done. you open the oven door but the oven don't shut off. Is that suppose to happen? Could my oven be defective

0 warning: before check inside Oven, put off and unplugged. Work inside the furnace require some skill and care, because there are risks of lectrocucion. there are certain security mechanisms to check. 1.- Microswitchs door. 2.-Mechanism liberating door that controls the operation of the micro switchs.

0 we had same problem as you. after cook time is over , lights go out and oven beeps like it is done, but does not shut down. too bad, it's a good looking micro. but just another made in china piece of crap!!!!
