brand new out of the box will not power on...

0 Same here. Received mine today and all it would do upon plugging it in was beep once. The inspection light would turn on when lifting the lid but nothing else would work. Tried every solution recommended and none worked. Typical China product. Does anyone know of a Bread Machine made in the USA?
