how do i replace the timer? i appreciate that i ha...

how do i replace the timer? i appreciate that i have to remove all the knobs and unscrew the screws holing it in place but what do i do next? the ovens dont work as the timer seems to do nothing, just shows that it is on auto and shows 0:00.
