Question About Popcorn Poppers Bc-2970

I've had the I've had the Betty Crocker Movie night cinema style popcorn popper for over a year now and it worked great until recently. Now it only pops about 1/4 of the kernels. I've tried different brands of popcorn and it makes no difference. Can you suggest some troubleshooting tips?
