3 I did maintenance in an apartment complex for 5 years. I cant tell you how many of these I had to fix/replace. If its making that low humming noise it means its jammed. Its trying to turn but cant. If you can fit your hand into the hole, try moving the blades. If you cant spin the blades it definitely means its stuck and you have to find what is jamming it. As soon as you find what it was, and can turn the blades with your hand, it will spin again when you flip the switch. You only ever need to hit the reset button when you flip the switch and nothing happens, including no noise at all. Hope this helps! and you have a small enough hand!
