Ice full light is always on despite there being no ice even made. How do I fix this?

0 I had the same problem and my fix was the thermistor which is the sensor for hot and cold that tells the machine the ice bin is full or empty. I took mine apart and took the thermistor out and spliced the wires going to it together just to see if that was the problem. It started making ice after that, I ordered a new thermistor from Ebay (overseas so it takes about a month) for $1.75. I put in the new thermistor and now it's working just like new.

0 Put it in brighter spot. Light effects the sensor . Too dark says ice full. Was my problem anyway. Cheers
