5 As long as you don't have the unit fully installed into your cabinetry, it should be relatively easy. You should only need to take out a handful of screws and remove the outer cover of the microwave. I believe it is part number 56912B on the Latch Board Parts page of this service manual: http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/content/pdfs/169505-8.pdf That may seem intimidating, but as long as you don't yank out any wires when you are taking the cover off, it shouldn't hurt the performance of the oven. And this will probably be a lot cheaper than having a professional do it for you. It's hard to tell exactly which part it is and I haven't been able to find the exact part number (since it may be best to buy one from a third party rather than GE), but when you take out the old one, it should have a part number on it that you can use to find a replacement.
