I am missing the kneading blade for 'Crisp Bread'. Is it important for me to have this part?

0 No, not important. Blade is designed to come out easier if you bake crisp bread in the mixing pan. That bread is always better shaped into a baguette or a round loaf. Bake it with a casserole pan of hot water on the bottom rack so the oven is full of steam — it's more authentic, chewier crust that way. Give it a final raise 35 min. room temperature under towel, sprinkle cornmeal under loaf, water pan in oven while preheating, slit X in top with sharp knife, bake 350 degrees 45 min.
