Question About Panasonic Microwave Oven NN-T664SF
child lock...

My child was pressing buttons on the microwave this morning and now it only says "child" on the display window and will not work. What is the code or trick to disable this child lock?

0 I've had my Panasonic 1100 watt microwave oven (model NN-L531) for eleven years, using it multiple times daily and I only JUST NOW discovered the child lock feature. By accident. The feature is not even listed in the instruction manual. Intending to press the Quick Minute button three times, I accidently pressed the Start button three times instead. The display changed to "Child" and the microwave oven seemed to be stuck in an inoperative mode. ;( Solution 1: just UNplug the thing, then plug it back in. The clock's setting is gone, but so is the child lock. Solution 2: Press the Stop/Reset button three times. Wasn't that a fun was to spend a half hour! ;)
