5 You didn't say what circuit in the house is tripping and what items are on that circuit. It's hard to diagnose the problem unless we know what is on that circuit that could be causing it to trip. It sounds like a dead short somewhere in the line or in something plugged into a receptacle on that breaker. 1st, unplug everything on that breaker. Turn off all light switches. See if the breaker still trips. If it does, you have a dead short in the line somewhere, or water is leaking in and shorting it. If it doesn't break, start to turn on each switch one at a time until it trips. That switch will be where the problem is., or in that light or fan or whatever. If it still doesn't trip, start to plug in all those things normally on that circuit. When you get to the faulty appliance, it will trip the breaker and you will know that is the problem and that item needs replaced or serviced. If it trips when everything is turned off and unplugged, you need to call a licensed electrician to solve the problem. Good luck.
