TYPE CJ02 Can't remove top part of juicer to clean it.

5 Hi my son was cleaning this juicer and blade cup came off. Since then we have pulled it on and off easily. It has little nodules that grip around the turning mechanism, that will lock when turned. To remove grab front & and back of pulp catcher and voila, comes off!

5 the top clear plastic part is connected to the white plastic part with clips on the side ... after taking off clips i thought it would come apart but it didn't so i put a butter knife in between the 2 pieces a it came apart then i could just take my cutting blade off it come out very easy after cleaning i put it all back together and it works great.. not sure if those two pieces were suppose to come apart but thinking if there are clips it has to lol.. they come apart now..;-)

5 I see that this produce was recalled for safety issue. I haven't been able to find a manual either

2 I am having the same issue and i see that no one so far has been able to help :( i have the same unit, no instructions (a friend gave this to me as she doesnt use it often, though the last time she used it, they didnt' clean it :*( ) but i can't use it until i clean it! Help!!?

1 You do not need instruction. I have been using one for years, just chop up an apple, carrot and red beet into small enough pieces, turn the machine on full blast and push the vegies into the hole with a plug supplied, juice comes into a receptacle. Drink it. And do not forget to wash it.

0 I got a proctor silex juicer two weeks ago. I have been using it every day since. It's been awesome!
