Can I cook mostly frozen chicken breasts cut into 1-2 inch pieces in a slow cooker? Recipe also calls for carrots, celery and onions in 1 cup of liquid. I started on high at 9 and will switch to low around noon. I plan to eat about 6. I didn't think it would be a problem but am finding Google searches that say do not cook frozen chicken in slow cooker. Does that mean even cut up frozen chicken breasts? I did open the lid once to add the celery after about 1 hour.
