5 I bought this unit at Walmart despite the many one star reviews of DOA out of the box or dying shortly afterward (up to three weeks). At $55+tax I figured it was a good price and worth the gamble. I have had it a week and it is still working (knock on keyboard). I did not like the black color (it makes it hard to see the buttons), but that was only color offered, so I grabbed it. The unit has an excessively LOUD beep (I think my neighbors can hear them), and as far as I know there is no soft way to disable/turn them off. At that price, I think it is a good buy. But use it after buying to ensure you did not get a DOA or a lemon and can return it within the store's return policy limitations.
