5 this was little help. what I saw seemed the be a copy of the front cover of the manual. There was no actual instructions on how to determine the amount of water to add to the unit, cooking times etc. necessary to actually opreate the unit.

5 This is NOT a manual! It is just an overview of the cooker. It was not what I was looking for and I am sure it is not what anyone else was looking for either. Now you have me registered on your site with my email address and my name and I have nothing!!!

0 its not a complete manual.... but if I am not mistaken for 1 cup of rice use 1 1/2 cups water and then for every additional cup of rice use 1 more cup of water for each additional cup of rice...

0 Well thanks//I was just wondering..where you put the water.in the rice or down in the bottom

0 you add the water to the area with the metal heating element as it cooks and steams the water collects around in the edge area so no scorching ...its done when the light goes off and all the water is out of the center area...... I also find doing smaller batches works the best like maybe 1 or 2 cups at a time of rice .... Also use the rice bowl alone not with the steamer tray - that id for steaming veggies etc.... when I use it for steaming veggies I just keep an eye on things and not wait for light as I tend to like my veggies a lil on the crunchier side and totally steamed soft..
